I’m a playwright and actor drawn to complicated characters, hidden truths, and hope in unexpected places. My play North Wind received a full production by Opening Night Productions at the Indian Head Black Box Theatre in 2026, and I recently shared an excerpt from my solo show, Riddles of the Past, at PlayPenn’s Solo Show Writing & Performance Intensive in Philadelphia. I’m a two-time recipient of the John Cauble Award for Excellence in One-Act Playwriting from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region IV, for North Wind and I Live to Tell, and received a 2025 Artist & Scholars Project Grant from the Arts & Humanities Council of Montgomery County.

I first fell in love with storytelling as an actor. I trained with Sanford Meisner at The Neighborhood Playhouse and earned a Jeff Award nomination for my performance as Linda in Savage in Limbo with Chicago’s Inn Town Theater Company. My film credits include A League of Their Own, La Stanza Accanto, and Goodnight Sweet Wife: A Murder in Boston.

Community and collaboration are an important part of my work. As national Social Media Manager for The Future Is Female Festival, I helped connect new work by more than 130 women across 27 outposts in 18 cities. My own plays have appeared at Chicago Dramatists, Baltimore’s Strand Theater Company, the Hollins Playwrights Festival of New Works at Mill Mountain Theatre, and the Drama Lady Theatre Group.

I hold an MFA in Playwriting from Hollins University and a BS in Theatre from Illinois State University. I’m a former member of PlayPenn’s Playwrights Cohort and a current member of the Dramatists Guild of America, LA Writers Center, Writers Group of New York, and DC Construction Crew.

I write because I’m curious about people: what we hide, what we reveal, and how we find our way toward one another. I hope my stories make audiences laugh, lean in, and feel a little less alone.
